In Light of Orlando Tragedy, Saturday Sales Profits to go to Colorado GLBT Center
DENVER - In the wake of last weekend’s act of terror in Orlando, the Botanico Recreational Cannabis Shop will be donating all profits from its Saturday Pride sales to the GLBT Colorado Community Center. Botanico would like to stand in support with the LGBTQ community and work for tolerance, equality and respect.
“Standing together within a community means doing your part however large or small,” said Ben Perrone, President of Botanico Inc. “After a tragedy like this, it's important not to resort to hate. Hate led to this atrocity, but love and tolerance can keep it from happening again.”
Additionally, Botanico will be offering deep discounts all weekend in honor of the Denver Pride Celebration. For those who wish to contribute, but are not cannabis consumers, t-shirts will be available for purchase and donations will be accepted.
The GLBT Colorado Community Center, www.glbtcolorado.org, is the largest Community Center in the Rocky Mountain region, giving voice to Colorado’s LGBT community and playing a pivotal role in statewide initiatives to reduce harassment and discrimination.
Botanico is a recreational cannabis shop that is located in Denver’s Rino District at 3054 Larimer Street. The hours of operation this weekend are 9AM-6:50PM on Friday and Saturday, and 10AM-6:50PM on Sunday.
Our aim is to make a difference in our own community, assisting our fellow Coloradans, supporting a system already in place. Think global, act local.
